SplitLens Privacy Policy

SplitLens is a local-first subscription and shared expense tracker. This Privacy Policy explains what information is handled by the app and how it is used.
Information you enter into SplitLens
SplitLens lets you enter information such as subscription names, prices, renewal dates, billing cycles, categories, household member names, shared payment details, one-time purchases, payment records, and receipts.
This information is used to provide the app’s tracking, splitting, history, reminder, receipt, and backup features.
Local storage
SplitLens does not require an account. The tracking data you create in SplitLens is stored locally on your device. SplitLens does not operate a user account system or a cloud database for your subscription and household tracking data.
Purchases
SplitLens offers SplitLens Pro as a one-time in-app purchase. Purchases are processed by Apple through the App Store. SplitLens may use RevenueCat to manage purchase status, restore purchases, and determine whether SplitLens Pro is active.
SplitLens does not receive or store your full payment card number.
Notifications
If you enable renewal reminders, SplitLens may schedule local notifications on your device. You can turn notifications off in SplitLens settings or in your device settings.
Backups and sharing
SplitLens includes export, import, and receipt-sharing features. When you choose to export a backup or share a receipt, you control where that file or shared content is sent through your device’s share options.
Third-party services
SplitLens may use third-party services for app functionality, including Apple App Store services for purchases and RevenueCat for purchase management. Those services may process purchase-related information according to their own policies.
No sale of personal information
SplitLens does not sell your personal information. SplitLens does not use third-party advertising networks in the app.
Children’s privacy
SplitLens is not intended for children under 13. The app is designed for personal finance and household expense tracking.
Changes to this policy
This Privacy Policy may be updated from time to time. Updates will be reflected by the “Last updated” date above.
